Demo 1.2a (Update)

Updated Demo 1.2 to fix some issues. I'd hoped it would be the last but it just wasn't quite there yet.

Changelist 1.2 - 1.2a

- Fixed one ending that didn't run
- Made chair placement a little more reliable
- Removed on-the-fly Save + Load, as they broke scripts more often than they were useful
- Minor spelling corrections
- Fixed a door locking bug
- Fixed obscure defunct sprite loading bug on saving
- Made blackmail route require more deliberate action to reach
- Added 2 opportunities to turn away from the blackmail route and stay on the consensual path
- Added some optional Bern chat

Demo 1.2a on Windows, Mac & Linux

Demo version 1.2a is here on Windows, Mac and Linux. I plan for this to be my final change to the demo, in order to get started in earnest on the rest of the game.
Thank you so much to everybody who played earlier versions and reported bugs; you are helping this be everything it can.

Demo 1.0a / 1.1

L A T E S H I F T E R

"Unable to travel freely, young, hopeless people are confined to Mega Cities, commonly falling into casual substance abuse to wake around ever-changing contracts."

Demo contains:
- Future retro setting

Download v1.0a April 6th Demo

Update:
Did some bugfixing after initial release:

Added toggle switch for music
Added toggle switch for "Heroine is typing"
Added option to skip intro on consecutive playthroughs
Added Save / Load option (May be fine, may break, use another save file than your main bed save)
Fixed some minor text issues
Make coffee the active item instead of just telling the player they have it already
Fixed consensual route script halting (freeze)

Known issues:
All text still references 1.0a / a1.0 as the version
There is a chance the heroine will get stuck in the entry doorway. There's a fix coming next build, but for now the workaround is to save in the apartment after the ending, reset the game, then load from the menu.

Let's Play & Reviewer Demo complete

Demo 1.0a is complete and was sent out to testers last night.

I received and fixed three very major edge-case bugs that only reared their heads after several plays as well as fixing smaller issues for overall polish. It's now stable and on track to be ready for release.

I'll be testing all week in conjunction with the other testers just in case and fixing any major issues that may arise, but otherwise am on track to release in a little over a week.
This will also give me time to wrangle together a little promo material like a trailer.

Let's Play / H-Game Reviews:

If you are a Let's Player or H-Game Reviewer and you'd like to get hands on it before then, send me an email. I'd be super grateful of the coverage.
I'm running a concurrent Patreon page, though I will be releasing these games for free.
Authors of reviews or Let's Plays can be added to a mailing list to receive Patron benefits like early access to future games and updates for free, so if you have the viewership and believe in this game please get involved!

All games will be released for free.
Contribution is totally optional

I've held off getting into Patreon until I have something worth showing, because I know the stigma that comes from H-game development on the site, and have long been jaded about it, myself.

If you are similarly jaded, don't like the idea or just don't have money lying around to throw at filth merchants on the internet, I absolutely understand and repeat that support is totally optional.

If you'd like to contribute to development and help me iterate on material quicker by allowing me living costs for more hours to work on it, you'll be granted earlier access to completed material.
